It will discuss the ideas behind Democracy Earth along with related movements and ideas. The D.R. Net will be a self perpetuating entity governed in a decentralized manner under the ideals of freedom in technology and participatory democracy. The D.R. Net seeks to be democratically governed using Sovereign's liquid democracy with Ethereum smart contracts automating profit sharing and decentralized arbitration. Or whatever We The People of The Democratic Republic of the Internet (or, errr this book) decide.

Hannah Wolfman-Jones is working on the first draft to be freely released on github for collaboration. Contributions in the form of content, promotion, and sales will be monetarily rewarded. Contact hannah@democracy.earth with comments or questions.

  3. Currently developing training program for potential ambassadors at other Universities.

4: Nathan Altman’s Campaign for U.S. Senate

Nathan Altman is running as an independent for a senate seat in Indiana. He will champion liquid democracy and blockchain voting in Congress. As an independent candidate, the campaign must amass more than 26,000 verified signatures from registered voters to be included on the ballot, and petition efforts are underway. Fundraising, obtaining ballot signatures, and raising awareness of the campaign and liquid democracy are all needed.

In Altman’s own words: “It is time to rethink how we engage in our democracy, and ensure that voters have a real, tangible voice in the decisions facing our nation. As community leaders, our relationships with constituents cannot be overstated - we work for them. Investing in our democratic system to ensure elected officials listen and gather input from people of all political perspectives before making decisions should be the norm. I will be a champion of this approach.”

For more information, visit www.Altman.com, follow him on Twitter or Instagram, or engage on Facebook.
